I had a bout of the flu recently, so I asked my agent, Bernie Shimshelwitz, to pick me up something to read. He knows I'm a big racing fan and I never fail to catch the BBC TV coverage of the major meets, so he reckoned he'd done me a favour by picking up what he thought was Clare Balding's autobiography. Dosy get. Not a bad read though.
