Fashion Passion

I was at a party at John Leslie’s flat a few weeks ago (which reminds me that I must get the video camera back that I lent him) and someone asked me how I managed to stay abreast of the fashion scene. I told them the same thing that I tell everyone that asks me that question; I stay one step ahead of the fashion scene by staying four steps behind it, you keep something long enough and it’s bound to be ‘de rigueur’ within a few years. I’ve got a box of snoods in the lockup itching for an airing. I can’t take all the credit for my sartorial elegance. My Father, Conrad Banks, was also a fashionable man and I was lucky enough to inherit his genes, (pictured).
