I loved this when it came out in 1985, what a treat. But as you point out, I was scared for life after 92 mins, what a crock!
I sat there staring at my massive James Bond wristwatch (I'd saved about 100 packets of Salt'n'Shake for that bugger) blinking at the stopwatch on my tiny arm with tears in my eyes.
Even other films that year were longer - the Goognies and Back to the Future, 114 mins & 117 mins respectively (thanks James)!

And then theres Limahl, why use a Jonathan Ross sound-a-like to sing the title track if theres an 'R' in it!? What is a 'store-wee'?

As a 10 year old, this film left me angry and confused, but the princess was hot so it's still in my top-10 all time greats.

Hey teacake, have I got a treat for you: http://www.tamistronach.com/
The Empress lives, and throws herself around in skimpy lycra! Enjoy.

Cheers Harrison!
You sure thats her? She looks as old as me! Who'd have thought the story would end in 'downtown modern dance'!?

Have you met up with her recently or do you no longer speak after her fall-out with Bernie?
